School Translations was founded in 2005.

While working as a full time translator for a school district in California, Ryan decided to go back to college and pursue a Bachelors degree in translation. During his university studies he continued to work as an independent translator for the school district. He soon realized that he was costing his employer half as much money as he did when he was a full time employee. Ryan also came across a disturbing number of poor quality translations from other school districts. Putting together a team of talented translators, Ryan formed SchoolTranslations.com in order to give every school district the opportunity to accurately communicate with their student’s parents without going over budget.

Over our nine years in business Ryan’s wife Becca has assisted him in growing and streamlining SchoolTranslations.com from providing only Spanish translations for one school district to providing translation services in over thirty languages to over one hundred programs, schools, districts and county offices throughout California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Idaho.
